Learning Outcomes: After attempting this GDB students should be able to: Understand the main theme of review article “What Theory is Not”. Comprehend the field of organizational theory and design and learn about theory and theory building. Improve reading and analytical skills so that they can work on their research projects independently. Requirement(s): This discussion is based on a review paper titled “What Theory is Not” written by Robert I. Sutton and Barry M. Staw. The review paper is available in the “downloads” section of VULMS of this course in Zip folder named GDB_02_Spring_2019. Download and read the article thoroughly and analyze it meticulously and answer the following question(s) as per your own understanding after reading this article. Question: Differentiate between what is theory and what is not theory? The maximum words limit is 300, try to summarize your answer within this word limit. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS Do not copy any material from original article. Copied material will be treated as cheating & will be marked as zero. Your discussion must be based on logical arguments. The GDB will open and close at above specified date and time. Please note that no grace day or extra time will be given for posting comments on GDB. Use the font style “Times New Roman” and font size “12”. Your answer should be relevant to the topic i.e. clear and concise. Do not copy or exchange your answer with other students.
