How do you see the prevailing issues of law of inheritance of property to women in Pakistan? Explain logically the basis of these issues. Instructions Your discussion must be based on logical facts. Background Feminism is an organized social and political movement that promotes gender equality. The feminist focuses on analyzing the society in terms of the social position of women and how to improve it so that women can gain equality with men. Feminism has developed in various historical stages/phases which are called the waves of feminism. The historical development of feminism has been divided into three waves. • First Wave • Second Wave • Third Wave Questions: Q1. Being a student of gender studies, you are required to provide real life examples of issues for each wave of feminism at micro and macro level in the context of Pakistan (one example for each wave and each level). Background The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) is a standard for all nations. It was drafted by representatives from all regions of the world, with different legal and cultural backgrounds. On 10 December 1948, the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed the Declaration as a common standard of achievements for all peoples and all nations. It was for the first time that fundamental human rights were universally protected.
