Assignment: Marks: 20 Firstly, you are required to select a young adolescent from your surroundings and take his/her consent being a part of this task. You must ask age, gender, education, occupation and his/her marital status. (1) After that, you are required to ask the following questions from the participant and prepare a report on the basis of answers of these questions. If you have to describe yourself in terms of self-identity; how would you describe yourself with reference to different roles assigned by the society? (3) How would you define yourself? (Here the participant is required to report his/her physical appearance, dressing preferences, food preferences, values, expectations regarding marriage, talents and skills). (3) What is your ideal self-concept related to your personal appearance, talents and skills? (3) What do you think, how others perceive you? (3) Narrate any experience of social judgment from yours life which made you feel strong and weak respectively. (3) Describe any strength which is the most admirable about you. (2) At the end, on the basis of answers of all above mentioned questions, you have to conclude how the interviewee’s self-concept developed and what role society played in it.
