Note: Only in the case of Assignment, 24 hours extra / grace period after the due date is usually available to overcome uploading difficulties which may be faced by the students on last date. According to SAHIL, an NGO working at national level, 3832 cases of Child Abuse were
reported in 2018. Child Abuse is unfortunately a common occurrence in urban as well as in rural
areas of Pakistan. It is observed that parents in the rural communities usually stay silent if their
child becomes a victim that perpetuates further abuse, and leave children in suffering for long
period of time.
As a social worker, suggest a social action plan to stop child abuse in the rural communities by
explaining it in detail in eight steps of Social Action that you have studied in your course.
