As YouTube policy from 2020, if your channel doesn’t get 4000 watch hours 1000 subscribers in 365 days, all of the old watch hours will be removed from the monetization page on the 1st of the next year even you got 3999 watch hours already. You can start monetizing your Youtube videos after reaching 4,000 watch hours in the previous 12 months and 1,000 subscribers.

1- 4000 watching hours means how much hours your videos, which you upload on your channel, are watched. Your videos should be watched by viewers for 240,000 minutes (4000 hours) in one year, and 1000 subscribers to enable monetization. This means after fulfilling these conditions you will earn money from YouTube AdSense.

2- The live streaming time also includes watch hours. If you go live, the time people spend watching your live streaming on your channel, that time will be count as watch time.
