Wire Transfer as a payment method in AdSense
zareenZ
Welcome to the Google AdSense All About Payment series. We’ll be talking about receiving payments via wire transfer, which is a method of electronic funds transfer. It allows you to receive funds directly into your bank account, which is available for many countries. Please see the description of this link. to review the list of countries wire transfer is available. Google sends your earnings via international wire transfer to the bank of your choice. This is a fast, simple, and secure method for receiving your payments. Before going into the practical steps, here’s a quick overview of the two topics we’ll be covering in this topic. First, we’ll walk you through the five-step process to enter your bank account information. Second, we will highlight some common reasons why receiving a wire transfer payment might fail. Let’s get started with the first topic. I’ll take you through the steps to make sure your wire transfer payment reaches your bank account successfully. Step 1, sign into your AdSense account. Step 2, click Payments from the left side of the menu bar. Step 3, click Add Payment Method. Step 4, choose the radio button for Wire Transfer To Bank Account and click Continue. Step 5, enter your bank account information and click Confirm. When you enter the correct bank account number or bank account codes within your AdSense account, keep in mind that the required information may vary depending on your country. You can find further information on this in the description of this link. If your account number contains hyphens, please remove them when you enter your bank account number in your account, as we only need you to enter the numbers. Make sure your bank account is located in the same country your AdSense account is registered in, and please double check your bank account is open to receiving a wire transfer payment. Last but not least, your chosen bank account must be able to receive payments via international wire transfer. If you’ve seen an error after you submit your bank account information, you need to re-enter your bank account information to make sure there are no mistakes. You can also contact your bank to confirm the details are correct and confirm they accept international transfers. Here are the most common reasons why payments fail. Your bank account details in your payee profile don’t match exactly the details of your bank account. Your bank account number is invalid. You didn’t provide a SWIFT code, or you didn’t provide any intermediary bank details. Please also note that depending on your bank, the payment could take up to 15 business days to arrive in your bank account. Finally, please check our wire transfer FAQs article in the Link description down below. We hope this video helps you better understand how wire transfers work and how to ensure you set up your details correctly. To learn more, you can visit the AdSense Help Center and AdSense website via the link in the description of this video. Last but not least, make sure to subscribe to the Google AdSense channel for more best practices and tips on how you can grow your site further. Thank you for reading, and let us know in the comments section if you have any suggestions for new topic.

Why do I have invalid traffic deductions in my AdSense account?
zareenZ
Hi AdSense Publishers, my name is Brandon and I work with the AdSense team. A common question we get from a lot of our publishers is why do I have invalid activity deductions on my account? So what is invalid activity? Invalid activity includes clicks and impressions that occur artificially through your site. These come in the form of page views that are generated from bots or other artificial means to boost your page view numbers or clicks. Most commonly through accidental clicks from poor ad implementation. So what can you do to prevent these sort of accidental clicks and other invalid situations from occurring? I’m going to over 3 very common tactics to help deal with it. The first one is understanding your sites traffic. This can be done on a high level just by looking at where your traffic is coming from, what counties, what URLs, what sources. But you can also dig deeper using Google Analytics. And something that you can look further into on your own. The other important part of understanding your traffic is knowing who you work with, especially in terms of promoting and marketing your site. If you’re dealing with low quality third parties for promotion and marketing you may be dealing with a partner who’s using artificial tactics of boosting your metrics. This can mean, them posting on certain forums, community forums or social threads that are derived for the sole purpose of pushing people to that URL to boost your metrics. And this kind of artificial inflation is something you want to avoid and it doesn’t create an organic situation and organic interaction with your content. Which is what you want to have success on AdSense. So understanding where your URLs are being posted, what kind of communities engage with your content, it’s very very crucial to understanding invalid activity. The next thing I want to talk about, is in terms of ad implementation. Ad implementation is very very important for decreasing accidental clicks because the way your ads are placed on the page can cause certain scenarios where your users would accidentally click on the ad content. On mobile this is very very important because the screen is small and users are engaging with the content directly. So if you’re not leaving adequate white space or other space between the content, users can accidentally scroll over an ad and click on it causing an accidental click situation. On desktop similarly, if your ads blend in too much to the content or if there isn’t adequate spacing and labeling that says it’s an advertisement, user may accidentally click on it thinking it’s a part of the content or because they couldn’t get around the finding the content. These are very common situations for you to be aware of. You should take a close look at your site and make sure that you are labeling and providing spacing to avoid this situation. Third thing you can do is site authorization. If other people are using your ad source code by just putting inspect on your page and then using any code from your site, that can cause your ad code to show up on other peoples sites that you don’t own. If these sites do have poor ad implementation it can cause invalid activity there or other accidental clicks. So to prevent yourself from getting in trouble with accidental clicks and other invalid activity for ad code that’s not on your site, you want to turn on site authorization. And you can go to our help center to learn exactly how to do that. That will make sure that you’re only responsible for the ad code that’s on your site. Those are the three things, I hope you’ve found it helpful and thanks for watching.

What is the minimum click through rate?
zaasmiZ
Google has a requirement of a minimum click through rate that you must meet to keep your keywords from being slowed or disabled. (More info about ads being disabled in Keyword Status). This CTR referrers only to the keyword, and not to the various ads you may have. This CTR is also determined by your CTR on Google’s site only. You will see overall CTR rates and this will include data from partner searches if you have that feature enabled. The minimum CTR rate for the first position is 0.5%. As the positions decrease (from 2, 3, etc), the minimum CTR rate slow decreases as well. Google has not released exact statistics for each position. However, its believed that a 0.3% will be enough for a position 6-8 ad (bottom of the first page) not to be disabled. To learn more about managing keywords and optimizing ads, please see our Creating Your Own Pay Per Click Account page. Source

We’ll be taking you through the best practices to help you get your site approved.

I will be giving you three recommendations to increase the chances of getting your site’s approval status to ready.

Before diving into the best practices, let me introduce them to you.
The first best practice is to make sure your site has the correct ad code.
Next, we have our second practice, on having the site available.
Last but not least, we will talk about our program policies to ensure the site is policy-compliant.

      So let’s get started.

The first best practice is to make sure your code is complete and correct.
After you’ve generated the ad code, you will need to place the add code into the HTML of your site.
You need to place the ad code in the head tag or at the top of the body of your page, without making any changes.
Please make sure you’ve placed the code into the same site you’ve added in your AdSense account.
Alternatively, you can verify your site ownership in Search Console instead.
If we detect that you’ve verified your site in Search Console, we’ll continue checking if your site is ready to show ads.
The second-best practice is to make sure your site is reachable.
We often review websites which may be down or not loading correctly.
Therefore, we are unable to review these sites.
Make sure that the URL you used to sign up for the AdSense account is correct and up and running globally.

Your site would be unavailable if you need a password to access the site.
If your site’s login is password-protected, consider temporarily removing the login screen so that we can reach your site.
Also, make sure you are not blocking our crawler in your robot’s .TXT file to avoid any crawler issues.
You can see more details on why your site might be unreachable by clicking on the Help Center link.

The final best practice is to make sure your site is policy compliant.
Please review our program policies and content policies in particular.

We’ve observed three main violations by our publishers that we’ll highlight next to help you avoid them.
The first violation is low-value content. Make sure the content is original and valuable to your users.
The second violation is having replicated content.
Ensure that your content is unique, and it’s not repetitive on different pages of your site.
When the same content is found replicated on your pages or on other sites, your site won’t be approved.
The third and the last main violation is site navigation.
Users need to be able to easily navigate your site.
This can be achieved by categorizing your content, using menu bars, and so on.
Keep in mind that we may review all pages of your sites, and not just the sign-up URL where you place the ad code. That’s why it’s very important to make sure each page has valuable content that is not repetitive and is easy to navigate. In addition to these, we advise placing ad code on the most popular page of your site, which will trigger our system into recognizing your ad code, and speed up the activation process.
Last but not least, keep your site in the sites list, as removing it might delay the review process.
To summarize, here are the most important points to get your account activated.
One, copy the code exactly as it appears in your AdSense home page, two, make sure your site is reachable, and three, review our program policies.
We hope this will helped you better understand how you can get your site approved.
Last but not least, make sure to subscribe to the Google AdSense channel for more best practices on how you can grow your site further.

Thank you for reading, and let us know in the Comments section if you’ve any suggestions.
