In today’s digital age, when missiles are launched, they look as if they were hitting Tehran yesterday and Tel Aviv today.
For the few mentally ill people in Pakistan who lie upon lie to please the occupying military masters and fool their own people by fabricating false stories of Pakistan firing missiles at mainland India.

People in Gaza are ‘celebrating’ the Iranian missiles, hoping that Israel will be busy for some time from killing them.

Trump’s support for Israeli strikes has taken a dangerous turn, Gary O’Donoghue, chief North America correspondent
President Trump’s stance on the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran has been shifting. When Israel launched strikes on Iran on Friday morning, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio immediately called the action unilateral and the Trump administration distanced itself from it.
But now the president is more open to the operation. He is describing it as “excellent” and praising the “American military equipment” used in the strikes.
We have also heard from the White House that US personnel have been helping to intercept Iranian missiles.
Domestically, this puts President Trump in a dangerous position. Support for Israel is strong among Republicans and their base. But there are deep doubts about US involvement in foreign wars.
Trump has long promised to end ongoing wars and start new ones. He claimed he could end the fighting in Ukraine within 24 hours and promised to release all hostages held in Gaza.
Even today, he floated the idea of resuming nuclear talks with Iran on Sunday, but Tehran has backed out.
Politics is about keeping promises, and President Trump is running the risk of not keeping some of these important promises.

Consequences would be ‘serious’ if Iran targeted US: US official
US Bureau official McCoy Pitt says US was ‘notified’ of Israeli attack on Iran in advance and Israel said it was ‘necessary for its defence.’He told the UN Security Council that ‘the US was informed of the attacks in advance but was not militarily involved in them.’
He added that ‘our first and foremost priority is the protection of US citizens, personnel and forces in the region.’
Pitt says if Iran targets US citizens, bases or infrastructure, ‘there will be serious consequences for Iran.’
He says the US position is that Iran should make a deal and will seek a ‘diplomatic solution’.
‘It would be wise for the Iranian leadership to negotiate at this time.’

The Israeli attacks may not only be aimed at the nuclear program, but also at overthrowing the Iranian government, Hugo Bachega, Middle East correspondent in Jerusalem
After Iran’s attacks on Israel, Iranian citizens gathered in Tehran’s Revolution Square and celebrated the launch of ballistic missiles at Israel. Iranians waved flags of Iran, Palestine and Hezbollah in addition to Iran.

When Iran launched another wave of attacks before dawn, loud explosions were heard in Jerusalem and air defense systems were activated. When Israeli officials yesterday declared the operation against Iran a “success,” they also signaled that the attacks could be the beginning of a long campaign and warned the public that large-scale Iranian retaliation was expected.
Israel says the campaign is aimed at damaging Iran’s nuclear program. Israeli officials believe Iran is currently in a vulnerable position. Its air defenses have been hit by airstrikes in the past year and its regional allies, particularly Hezbollah in Lebanon, have suffered heavy losses. Israeli officials say there is now an “opportunity” to act.
However, the intensity of the attacks suggests something else: the goal may not just be to damage nuclear facilities but to topple the Iranian regime. Last night, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a video message in which he directly addressed the Iranian people, urging them to rise up against their leadership.
“The aim of the Israeli military operation is not only to eliminate the nuclear threat, but also the ballistic missile threat. And while we are achieving our goals, we are also paving the way for your goal of freedom.”
This is perhaps the most worrying thing for the Iranian leadership, whose top priority has always been to ensure the survival of the regime. They are now under intense pressure and it is difficult to say whether these attacks will spark internal instability or an anti-government movement.
