Assignment Objectives:

The objective of the assignment is the enhance the capabilities of students about:
• Wireless application protocol in a cellular network in the wireless communication.
• How to creat IP tunnel from home network to foreign network in wireless communication.

Assignment

Question#1 (10 Marks)
A node with IP address 194.122.122.17 wants to send data packets to a mobile node having IP address 194.100.100.25 with home address 194.100.100.15.
Mobile node moved to a foreign network having foreign agent with IP 194.133.133.20. In foreign network, the mobile node is registered at the foreign agent and an IP tunnel is created from home network to foreign network. You are required to show the outer header and inner header of the IP tunnel with source and destination addresses of each header.

Question#2 (3 + 2 = 5 Marks)
a) To deploy mobile IP, some of the entities are important to include without whome the mobile IP can not be deployed. You are required to write the name of those major entities.
b) In satellite based wireless network, which protocol in WAP stack is responsible for maintaining the sessions?
