Learning Objectives:
 To develop the concept of development support communication
 To develop the understanding of development journalism
Media advocacy plays an important role in development communication through the circulation of knowledge, providing a forum for discussion of issues, teach ideas, skills for a better life and create a base of consensus for stability of the state.
Task
 Identify any media advocacy program of an NGO or Government funded agency and discuss its impact on target communities. (10 Marks)
 Identify 5 news stories related to the coverage of Development Journalism from any media source. (5 Marks)
Learning Outcomes:
 Students will be able to identify the development processes.
 Students will easily plan their own development programs for the betterment of communities.
 Note: Copied material will be graded “Zero” Schedule
Opening Date and Time January 21 , 2019 at 12:01 A.M (midnight) Due Date and Time January 27 ,2019 at 11:59 P.M (midnight)

 Every student will work individually and has to write in the form of an analytical assignment.
 Give the answer, according to question, there will be negative marking for irrelevant material.
 For acquiring the relevant knowledge don’t rely only on handouts, but watch the video lectures and use other reference books also.
