 To develop the media analysis skills.
In modern democracies, two things are very important: Accountability and Free Mass Media.
Moreover, a free mass media work as a watchdog and as a mirror of the society.
Task
 Considering the prevailing democratic setup of Pakistan, to what extent do you agree that the media has been fulfilling its role as a watchdog and as a mirror of the society? Discuss by giving examples. (15 Marks)
Learning Outcomes:
 Students will easily analyze and give an overview of media’s different roles.
