Graded Discussion Board (GDB)

Graded Discussion Board for Introduction to Linguistics (ENG502) will be opened from January 13, 2020 to January 14, 2020.

Give your views on ONE of the given topics. The topics for the GDB are:

1.              Pro-longed long marches and Jalsas have been a very important part in the history of Pakistani politics. All these activities create a discourse of protest all over the country. Discuss the positive and negative influence of such discourse of protest that the country faced during and after the protest.
   

OR

2.              Maxim of manner creates an environment where one tries to be as clear, as brief, and as orderly as one can in what one says, and where one avoids obscurity and ambiguity. How would a person get influenced if he/she violates maxim of manner in daily life.
